How to increase the lifespan of AnPro SPC flooring?

SPC flooring is increasingly trusted and chosen for a variety of environments such as homes, restaurants, hotels and offices because of its high aesthetic appeal, diverse designs, affordable price and, above all, its 20-year durability.

The average service life of SPC flooring is approximately 30 years.

The average lifespan of an SPC floor is about 15-20 years, but with proper maintenance, regular cleaning and careful use, it can last upwards of 30 years.

To extend the life of your SPC floor, follow these cleaning and maintenance practices

Vacuum and sweep daily.

First and foremost, vacuuming and sweeping must be done on a regular basis in order to maintain the quality and color of the floor.

Vacuuming and sweeping helps to store moving dust, stones, sand and other contaminants. Vacuuming or sweeping should be done at least once a day. It is recommended to use a vacuum cleaner and a broom to properly clean your floors.

Remove stains from floors with warm water.

If there are stains on the floor, such as paint, tea or coffee, they should be removed immediately.

Please use warm water to remove stains and avoid using boiling water.

Although the floor has been waterproofed, any spills should be blotted up.

Avoid using harmful cleaning agents.

SPC flooring is sensitive to a wide range of chemicals. Therefore, harmful cleaners and detergents should be avoided. Some chemicals can corrode the surface of the floor, even if they are too aggressive to shorten the life of the floor. As a result, the anti-scratch and anti-slip features of  SPC flooring may be lost.

Other Precautions.

Avoid installing outdoors or in areas exposed to sunlight.

Carpet the front of the room to prevent dust from entering.

Avoid placing sharp objects (such as knives dropped from above) or heavy objects (such as vinyl) for long periods of time by placing small felt underneath.

Dragging heavy objects back and forth can damage the floor. When moving, try to lift the item so that it does not fall to the floor.

With regular cleaning and proper maintenance, SPC flooring will look new and last up to 30 years. We hope the tips in this article will help you extend the life of your flooring in your home and increase its longevity.
